Our Wounds as A Sacred Map

In my previous blog post, I announced "Healing Histories: A Community Conversation." This is The Barbara Howell Park Conservancy’s inaugural event as a newly incorporated nonprofit. Set for February 29, 2024, this initiative embodies our collective aspiration for understanding, reconciliation, and growth.

In promoting and preparing for this event, I led the sermon at my home church The River of Life Christian Center in Urbana, OH. In the sermon below I explored with the congregation some of my deepest wounds and invited the crowd to explore theirs as well.
